"Sherie has created a demand for her services because of her unique expertise, dedication and enthusiasm.  She truly cares about helping people, and I dare say, has saved lives in the process.  She understands the various sleep issues thoroughly, and has great solutions and ideas to help resolve on an individual basis.  I would highly recommend Sherie."

"Nine months ago I would not have been able to tell you the last time I had a restful night's sleep.  Enter Sherie Richards.   Sherie was able to diagnose my sleep apnea and recommend a treatment plan (both of which were later confirmed by my physician).  My doctor told me to just "take this test", while Sherie expertly explained me through the testing process and the treatment options to help me find what would work best for me.  Because of Sherie's diagnosis, we found out that on average I stopped breathing over 40 times an hour while I was "sleeping".  This caused my blood oxygen level to fall dangerously and was pushing me towards exhaustion.  My body simply wasn't resting.  I would wake up ready to go back to bed.  Both my family and professional life were suffering.  Thanks to the treatment and equipment that Sherie recommended I now get real sleep!  I wake up refreshed and energized.  I am ready to take on the challenges of my days as husband, father, and 3rd grade teacher.

"For years I have suffered from fatigue.  I've been to several doctors giving me different diagnoses, including depression, suggested treatment plans, medication and supplements.  I gained weight and still feel fatigued much of the time.  On a day trip to do volunteer work in Mexico with Sherie, I asked her what she does for work.  That's when I found out Sherie's been in Sleep for over 30+ years.  I trusted Sherie.  She asked me multiple questions, listened, observed and made recommendations, all which I have  done.  Sherie stated that I was training myself to wake up early so that I wouldn't oversleep.  Her recommendations for sleep hygiene worked!  In addition to my insomnia, we talked about my snoring, which I have been told I do.  In our discussion, Sherie found out that heart attacks run in my family.  She informed me that some sleep problems, such as sleep apnea, can possibly lead to early death.  I saw my doctor last week, informed her of Sherie's recommendations and have a testing scheduled to check my oxygen levels during my sleep  to determine if I do snore and have sleep apnea.  In regards to my insomnia, the most importand advice Sherie gave was simple.  It helped me to get more refreshing sleep! Though  I still get fatigued, I get enough sleep to get me through the day.  I'd rather feel entirely refreshed and energetic, so perhaps the testing will show a sleep disorder.  Sleep is so important to feeling refreshed and energetic throughout ones day, I don't understand why more attention has not been paid.  Instead, too many doctors want to write a prescription, perhaps because it's quicker and they understand prescription drugs better than sleep therapy.  Thanks so much,  God bless you, Sherie!"

"I would wake up in the night fighting for breath.  I didn't want to admit that I might have sleep apnea and I certainly didn't want to wear a mask all night.

I now realize that it is a life and death matter.  With Sherie's guidance, extensive knowledge and professional attention, I have been tested and have the equipment necessary to insure my well being.  Sherie addressed my needs immediately and followed through with appropriate measures.

I am to say that I adjusted to the mask quickly and would never consider going to sleep without wearing it.  It is literally saving my life.  Thanks to Sherie, I can sleep safely now."  Patricia C., Retired, San Diego, CA

"We knew Sherie Richards to be an expert in the field of sleep apnea, so when she pointed out to us that this condition is about much more than snoring, we took her advice seriously.  My wife was soon to be administered general anesthesia for a surgical procedure.  To do this without a breathihng machine would increase the risk dramatically.  Sherie helped us obtain the correct machine quickly and we have had the peace of mind it gives ever since.  We are so appreciative of Sherie's assistance.  By the way, the snoring has stopped as well.  Thanks, Sherie!"  Phil Clark

"I had been previously diagnosed with sleep apnea and using my CPAP machine only occasionally.  In speaking with Sherie, I found out an acquaintance of Sherie's had died during his sleep from lack of regular use of CPAP which she had set up for him.  That got my attention!!!

I wasn't taking this disorder seriously, had high blood pressure and a heart arrhythmia.  I learned from Sherie that without the use of CPAP, heart conditions can dramatically increase.  Sherie got me using my CPAP and motivated me to see my pulmonary doctor.  My physician told me that I have severe sleep apnea and Sherie may have saved my life.  My doctor said the use of CPAP could help in the prevention of my fatigue and not using it could cause an adverse effect on sexual performance.

All this sounded familiar as Sherie had also mentioned the same information to me.  I really appreciate the help and guidance Sherie has given me for the improvement of my overall health."  Richard H., UCSD Medical Center, San Diego, CA
