Patrick Sorenson, MA, RPSGT, holds a Masters degree in Child Development and an RPSGT in sleep technology. He writes extensively on the topic of sleep and has been published in educational textbooks as well as sleep profession-related magazines, including being a regular columnist for Focus magazine where he mostly writes on topics related to pediatric sleep issues. 

Patrick has almost 20 years of clinical experience in the field of sleep disorders, and almost 17 of those years were in the very challenging field of pediatric polysomnography (PSG). He’s a speaker at regional and national meetings and an invited instructor in both pediatric and adult PSG technology classes and is Director of Education for the Ascension Healthcare System Sleep Laboratories in the Greater Boston area. He is also an adjunct professor for the Northern Essex Community College that offers an accredited PSG program. He is also a consultant for Nadis-Biologic clinical data acquisition systems.
